Join the Young Adult Advisory Board (YAAB)!

A Woman’s Place (AWP) Young Adult Advisory Board (YAAB) is a committee facilitated by young adults (ages 13 – 24), organized to raise awareness throughout the Bucks County community, provide peer support and education to youth and young adults, and promote the social change necessary to one day eradicate dating and familial violence.

YAAB of AWP meets the third Wednesday of every month. During these meetings, YAAB members help to plan upcoming events and devise ways to provide better outreach to their peers and the community about teen dating violence.

Biking for Bucks County!

Mike Garvey is...Biking for Bucks County.

Some of you may know that I'm a competitive cyclist. I also became a volunteer at A Womans' Place (AWP), the only domestic violence organization in Bucks County. I completed AWP's CORE Training program, represented AWP at various events, and have picked up a weekly volunteer shift. Now I'm combining my volunteerism and my competitive cycling to help AWP - and I would love your partnership and support. To read more about how I am Biking for Bucks County, click on the link below.

Have a creative way that you would like to support A Woman's Place or a story to share? We want to hear your voice! Contact Ifeoma Aduba at iaduba@awomansplace.org.
